Counterfeit Kit Challenge November 2017: 1st Layout Monschau (Germany)

Hello everyone,

Here is my first layout that I made with my counterfeit kit of november for the
Counterfeit Kit Challenge of November 2017.
I have used some wooden shapes and the chevrons are made with a stencil and modeling paste.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge November 2017: Pieces of Time

Hello everyone,

It's already mid-November. Time flies..

Lisa has chosen a beautiful kit for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge of this month.
It is the Citrus Twist kit of November 2016:

It has vibrant colors and I like the chevron pattern.


En here is my counterfeit kit. I mentioned the kit: Pieces of time. Why? I have already selected photos of different moments in my life, that match with this papers.

The leaves are die cuts from the doily. I don't have enamel dots in my stash, but instead I want to use puffed stickers.

So, there's work to do. I see you later!!

Welcome baby Julian

Hallo iedereen,

Vandaag ook nog een kaartje, dat ik maakte naar aanleiding van een geboorte. Namelijk de geboorte van Julian.

De achtergrond had ik al gemaakt tijdens een ander project, dit was een restje dat ervan afgesneden werd. Ik kon het mooi weer gebruiken voor deze kaart.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge October 2017: 3rd Layout

Hello everyone,

Last but not least, my third layout is here. This is the picture to wich my kit is named.

(I am not sure if I want my daughters pictures on the internet, so I put a piece of paper on her face. I am not a good drawer.)

This picture has been taken at the Zuidlaardermeer. I don't live far away from it. It is in the northern part of the Netherlands.

Here is a picture of my kit:

For this layout I have used the paper from the upper row, second left.

 

I have used several flowers, the wooden flipflops and some green gemstones from the kit.

I have made the big pink flower with a cutting die from Spellbinders. I could not find a good use for the blue paper with de pink roses, but I punched out a border as you can see here.

Lots of blue and pink in this layout. Several prima flowers are used here. 

I have enjoyed doing this layout.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge Oct. 2017 2nd Layout

Hello everyone!

Here is my second layout made with my counterfeit kit "An Afternoon at the Lake".
This picture of me has also been taken at the Fort Imperial near Dubrovnik. Unfortunately, it was severly damaged in the war of 1991-1995.

Here are the papers from my Counterfeit Kit:

For this layout I have used the light coloured paper left next to the blue and pink roses.

And from the embellishments I used flowers, the wooden sea horse (not on the photo) and some pearls and gems. And lace, not blue but white.

Look at that little bottle, isn't it cute? I have bought it at a discount store here in the Netherlands, called Wibra.

 I have used modelling paste and pearl paint to create texture.

I have used items for this layout that I had in my stash for a long time, especially the little flowers and those little green gems.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge October 2017 1st Layout

Hello everyone!

Finally, I finished my three layouts that I made with my counterfeit kit october 2017 "An Afternoon at the Lake". For my first layout I have chosen a picture not taken from a lake, but from the Adriatic sea. In 1988 I was on holiday in Dubrovnik, then Yugoslavia, now Croatia. I remember that we had very hot temperatures, but Dubrovnik was and is (I think) beautiful. The old city is to the left of this picture. It is taken from an old fortress, called Fort Imperial.

I discovered that it was difficult to match the different dessin papers of my kit. I mean, I couldn't match every paper with every other paper. But this two papers did match very well.
I love the Counterfeit Kit Challenge, I'm already curious about the november kit.
But first I will as soon as possible post my other two layouts.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge October 2017: An afternoon at the Lake

Hello everyone,

Here is my Counterfeit Kit reveal of October. I love the Prima St. Tropez kit and it was not difficult for me to create a kit of my own stash. The dessin paper with the dark background and the pink roses? I bought that years ago and didn't know what to do with it, though I love the colors and the dessin. Now it is in my kit and maybe I'm gonna use it. Maybe, we'll see.
I don't think that I have enough flowers that look like Prima flowers, so I will have to make some. Kelly has made very nice flowers, I love them.

Update Oct.12th: I have made new photo's of my kit, because I was not happy with the first ones.

I called my kit: An afternoon at the Lake.

 I hope to be back soon with a layout and/or a card.
