I searched on Pinterest for a nice image to use on a card and I found this one. Isn't it a cutie? I used two
dies of Marianne Design: the swirl LR0271 and the birds LR0290, that I cut in half.

Vogel op tak

Hallo,

Helaas heb je soms een condeleance kaart te versturen. Ik vind het lastig om een goede kaart te maken, het is gauw te vrolijk. Uiteindelijk is dit het geworden vanavond, ik zou zeggen, simpeler kan het (bijna) niet.
Er zou nog wel iets van tekst op kunnen, maar ik heb geen stempels met "sterkte" of iets dergelijks, en de gestanste letters die ik heb, vind ik te groot. Daarom schrijf ik iets binnenin.
De kaart is niet voor een challenge (bijv. CAS), dat vind ik niet correct tegenover de ontvangers.

lift challenge

hallo iedereen,

ik ga heel snel mijn kaart voor lift challenge plaatsen, later schrijf ik hier meer bij.

Het leuke van challenges is (vind ik) dat je kaarten maakt, die je normaal gesproken niet zo snel zou maken. Dit is er zo één. Ik vond deze heel erg leuk om te doen. Op het eerste gezicht leek de te liften kaart heel erg makkelijk, maar des te langer ik keek, des te meer details ik zag. Er kwam meer bij kijken dan ik eerst dacht. Ik vind hem erg geslaagd. Jullie ook?

Don en Daisy challenge 22

Hallo iedereen,

Op de valreep plaats ik hier mijn kaart voor de challenge van Don en Daisy met als thema: Lente.

Ooit zat er in de Hobby Handig een knipvel van Daisy. Ik had het nummer van de bibliotheek en omdat ik vind dat je knipvellen niet uit een bibliotheek-exemplaar moet halen, heb ik het gekopieerd.

Ik heb één van de plaatjes uitgeknipt en dit is mijn kaart geworden:

Stripes!

Hello everyone,

It is already after midnight here in the Netherlands. I am going to post my card for the Daring Cardmakers Challenge. The theme was: Signature style. The first time I saw the title, I didn't know what that meant. But I liked it!
The DT of Daring Cardmakers would like us to visit the blog of Nat and getting inspired by her style.
I saw a lot of horizontal stripes and chipboards. So I searched in my stash for patterned paper with stripes and this is the card I made. I had never thought of using this striped paper in a horizontal way. By the way: the flower paper is the other side of the blue striped paper. They match very well.
(I left the label blank, so I can later decide what sentiment I want to use.)

Butterflies in the corner!

Hello everyone,

Another card on this evening.

I've pondered a while about this theme: butterflies and corner. What kind of card would I make?
And I made this:

The suggestion is made that the front of the card is folded, but it is not. I just glued a piece of patterned paper on the front. The edges are distressed with Ranger Faded jeans. I clipped the butterflies out of patterned paper.
I left the label blank, so I can later decide what sentiment I want to use.
I like the Butterfly challenge, so I hope to join a next time!

Hallo iedereen,

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met de stempel  Seaside van Scrapberry's. Ik hou echt van kaarten met een zee-thema. Ze zijn zeer geschikt als mannenkaarten, omdat ze vaak een stoere uitstraling hebben. Nou heeft deze kaart niet direct zo'n stoere uitstraling; ik vind het heerlijk om hem te maken. De vissen en het anker en daarachter whatever-that-is, heb ik gemaakt met een sjabloon van de Action. De blauw-groene achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met patroonpapier en acrylverf.

This card may be not so cool, but I did like to make it. The fish and the anchor and what behind that, whatever that is, is made with a stencil from the discount shop Action. I've made the blue green background with tissue sewing paper and acrylic paint.

Hello!

I made this card for the My Favorite Things Challenge. They had a nice sketch.
I stencilled the strip of paper on the right side with acylic paint and a mask of Prima Marketing. I mixed blue and yellow paint and made nuances by adding more blue or yellow to the mixture.

It took me some time to figure out what kind of card I should make with the SEASIDE stamps from Scrapberry's. And yes, I had some inspiration from Pinterest. But it was fun to make this card.

Apple

Hi there!

Time has passed by since my last post, but I am back now!

I have made the green background with acrylic paint and stamped some circles. The apple was a template from the Internet. The leaves are from a die-set of Marianne Design. I reshaped them a little bit.

The birds-dies are also from Marianne. I disstressed the edges of the card with Tattered Rose from Ranger.

Vintage roze en grijs

Hallo iedereen,

Het is wel heel lang geleden dat ik voor het laatst een post plaatste, maar ik ben terug!

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor de challenge bij We Love Vintage, waar het thema is: roze en grijs.
Ik vond het nog best lastig om verschillende kleuren grijs te vinden en te combineren, want niet elk grijs staat mooi bij het andere grijs. Met roze heb je dat probleem niet zo vind ik.
Ik vind de kaart zelf zeer geslaagd. Met de zwarte vogeltjes heb ik een beetje gesmokkeld natuurlijk, maar ach is zwart niet heel erg donker grijs? Een van de inspiratiekaarten bevat een zwart lint als ik het goed gezien heb. De kaart krijgt van een klein beetje zwart wat meer pit.
